We’re local, independent and brewing for the community we know and love. What began in a garage as a passion project has evolved into the buzzing brewery it is today. From the heart of the Mornington Peninsula, we pour our all into every brew, balancing flavour, consistency and freshness with care, creativity and a deep respect for great beer.
Our story
Founder and Head Brewer Dale has spent over a decade homebrewing, fine-tuning recipes and placing at state-level competitions. With a background in quality management and manufacturing, he brought those worlds together and took the leap into commercial brewing.
In 2021, Dale secured a factory in Somerville and began building Port Phillip Brewing from the ground up. The first can rolled off the line in July 2022, and the brewery has been growing ever since. Today, Dale works alongside his brother Ryan, Creative Director, sharing beer shaped by local pride, quality ingredients and a connection to the coast with beer lovers across Australia.
